|
|
I am planning to try to follow the menus pretty closely because it all sounds good to me and I usually fail on other diets because of a lack of variety. Before I spend hours making those recipes into a shopping list, has anyone already done this?
Thanks in advance for any help or advice you can give me!

Here's one I've created that you can download and customize. It's in MS Word format. By no means does it have everything you can use. This is our family list, so it's customized for us.

Here is their South Beach diet recipe area. You can sign up (free) and then can click on "add to shopping list" when you find a recipe you want to make. You can print out any recipe in various sizes (I like mine on 3x5 cards) and then print out a shopping list that has everything for all the recipes you chose.

Quick shopping List - Phase 1
-A lot of eggs! (at least two dozen. I ate 3 a day)
-turkey and Canadian bacon
-sugar free Jell-O
-lettuce & whatever else you want in your salads (buy enough for the
week)
-Salad dressing (balsamic vinaigrette is good)
-veggies (no carrots)(broccoli & zucchini are good)
-chicken breasts and whatever other meat you like
-nuts (for snacks)
-low fat string cheese & shredded cheese (I use it on my salads)
-part-skim ricotta cheese
-Splenda or other sugar substitute _________________ Ami in OH |

When you get to Phase 2, there is a list for that also:

As I said, I could not have been as successful on this diet without these lists. I read the blue book from front to back, but these links saved the day for me. I printed out both Phase 1 and Phase 2 guidelines and kept them in a binder to use as reference.
I am glad that it helped.
Good luck |

| I am excited. I used your lists to take to the grocery store with me last night. I need pratical breakfast ideas for phase one. I can not make an veggie omolette and take it to work with me every morning. This morning I had spinach and two egg whites (boiled). I also had my peanuts for my snack. |

On my second week. Lost 8lbs so far. I do have to admit that I am tired though, esp after a work out. Just trying to lose twenty and get back into shape. Good luck all and keep the faith.
Man on a mission.... |

Thank you, I really needed this easy list of groceries for tomorrow morning. My husband and I are both starting this new way of life and trying to figure out my own grocery list seemed kind of daunting in a way. Usually we just go to the store and bought what looked good.
Thank you, thank you. You made this so much easier! =o) |
